Half term filming

In order to complete the film of our opening sequence we had to spend one of the days during our half term holiday from sixth form filming. This meant we had to organise a lot over our facebook chat due to the fact that we were not seeing each other in sixth form everyday. However, before we left to go on our half term break we pre-arranged a day which was a Wednesday and the place where we would all meet. For travel purposes we arranged to meet at temple meads station. I personally got the train to the station, however, I missed the previous train that I was supposed to get. I allowed time to let the other people in my group know that I would be there later and they responded quickly, this meant we could resolve that problem. We also did not know how to get to the places where we were meant to be filming at first, this meant that we had to look at various bus stops to see which bus would drop us the closest to our destination. We found the correct bus in the end and it took about half an hour to get to the nearest point to where we wanted to be. From here we walked for about twenty minutes to Leigh Woods. After filming at this place, we walked again to Ashton Court and found a place here that we thought would look best in our film. When we finished all the filming for that day we then had to find a bus which would take us back to temple meads as many of us had to get home from there. It took a while for us to do this but in the end we managed to find a bus stop close to where we were. We also took some props with us whilst we filmed on this day.We brought special effects make-up, fake blood, a black hoodie and a knife. We used all of these props whilst filming to make the scenes seem much more real. We filmed the scenes from the half term session on Lucy's camera, she then took this home and uploaded it to her computer, saved it onto a memory stick and brought it into sixth form the following week. We spent around four hours during this day filming the scenes that were fairly far away from where we all are based. Our organisation and planning allowed us to finish this part of the film in that time space.
